Tamarac Men's Basketball

The Tamarac Men's Basketball League is a 35 and over competitive league that is a lot of fun since everyone plays with a high level of basketball IQ and teamwork.

We draft completely new teams each season so that everyone gets to know each other. The process works pretty well since the games are close and the records even.

We play year round except for one or two weeks between seasons where the 'rookies' come out to run with the coaches and have their pictures taken for the draft. During the Spring and Fall seasons each year, we run 16 weeks (includes playoffs). The summer season is 12 weeks. In the summer we prefer to go with 8 players per team instead of the typical 7.

Fees are $125 for each 16 week season. Reversible jerseys for new players are $20 and they may be used for years or until the numbers wear off in about ten years ;)

Games are Thursday evenings 6:15, 7:15, 8:15, and 9:15 PM at the Tamarac Community Center which is located at 8601 W. Commercial Blvd (North side of road between University and Pine Island).

In mid April, late July, and early Dec, we sign-up and pay in preparation for the next season draft.
